Greetings esteemed and respected humanoid backers,
We just wanted to provide a quick update to inform you that the wheels of this project are still turning and we are producing artwork designs for the cards on schedule. This process is the longest process of the game design process as we have to come up with witty/satirical artwork for over 200 cards and try not to repeat ourselves. That being said not all of the cards lends possibility to amusement in themselves so it’s a fun creative process of us thinking up random artwork relating to the conspiracy and seeing our artist realise the designs.
At last counts we have something like 80 of the cards made (i.e. final artwork done) and initial artwork proposals for another 40 to come over the next few weeks. This is coupled with us working with our higher tier backers to help them realise their designs, and we’re very excited about their suggestions for cards too.
One final thing we might be doing before sending off to production company is do some final play-testing or run a suggestion to the final cards as some of the ones we’ve added in are no longer relevant or fitting in the game. This is only a minor few but we’d be keen on running a play test again soon in a pub somewhere in Southampton to see what your favourite cards are. So if you’re around, remember check out our facebook page and keep an eye out for an invite to a playtest / social gathering.

Morning all.
Just a quick update to keep in touch, I'm so glad we've had such a positive response from these emails and engagement with you all.
In terms of development our artist is working on the cards as I type this and is producing some great stuff. Keep an eye on our twitter for updates
We're still on time for production but have decided to change production companies. We're now going with Hartgraph, a high quality production company based in the U.K. We feel this is best as they are doing a great price for us and we can work very closely with them with a production time scale of 4weeks. Meaning we have more time to focus on great artwork and delivering on time.
Also going with the U.K is easier in terms of comms. We know they're listening and UK is part of the 5eyes nations where all our delivery will take place.

Produced by Dark Mushroom games these Australian (I assume this is on the underside of Flat Earth) conspiracists are producing a satirical conspiracy themed boardgame. Do take a chance to look at their game as their engagement and updates are hilarious!

So we are one week into the successful funding of It's Just A TheorY. We've since got the whole creation team together and divided up work Packets.
On the list of immediate things (other than making the gamE). Every reward tieR includes the chance for you to be featured on our website (or perhaps even in the rules as a supporter - If there's space).
TASK 1
One thing I'd like from yOu now, before we seNd out the reward surveys, is your name / pseudonym so we can add it to our website or the rules. This option is available from everyone from the £1 backer to the highest, but is of course voluntary and really just there to have an official thank-you to last the test of time.

The time is upon you to release the shackles of oppression in the terms of pre-defined conspiracy based cards and take your rightful place at the side of the designers of It’s Just A Theory.
To do this you will first have to pass a simple challenge, that is come up with a card that you wish to see in the game. That’s right, for those that pledged the ‘’One of Us’’ tier during our campaign received the high honour of working with us to produce a card of their choice.
Some guidance:
It’s Just A Theory consists of 3 card types; Conspiracy, Fact and Propaganda cards. Each card also has a theme associated with it and these are;
There are many ways in which you can design your card and we look forward to hearing your idea but if you can try to keep to the framework of 1) pick a card type and 2) pick a theme to work in then your card will more easily fit in the game. If you e-mail us at [email protected] with your card suggestion, then we will get in touch and start working together.
